Michelle Chow, Trainee Counselor

Having previous work experience in early childhood education, I realized that the foundation for meaningful self-development begins at a young age. I have a deep passion for working with children, supporting their emotional and psychological growth, and encouraging resilience and self-acceptance. My experience living abroad on a working holiday programme has also given me valuable insight into how mental health is perceived across different cultures. This has strengthened my commitment to cultivating a safe, open, and accepting environment where individuals can freely explore their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment.

As a trainee counselor, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to create a balanced approach that is both structured and empathetic. I believe in empowering individuals by fostering self-awareness, helping them develop effective coping strategies, and building their confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive space where individuals of all ages can express themselves freely, develop emotional resilience, and grow into their best selves.
