Clarisse Lim, Clinical Psychologist
MAHPC(CP) 00715
Guided by my motto, “live and let live,” I value acceptance in therapy regardless of sexuality, identity, background, or life experiences. Therapy is more than simply being given advice or listened to. It is a collaborative process of self-discovery, where you gain insight about yourself and build practical skills to manage your challenges more effectively.
I am an LGBTQIA+-affirming, trauma-informed registered clinical psychologist with a cheerful and easy-going demeanour. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients. I work primarily with adults on concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship and attachment issues, low self-esteem, burnout, and trauma. I have also run emotion regulation workshops for children and teenagers.
I adapt my approach to each person’s unique needs, using evidence-based therapies such as CBT and ACT; and sometimes incorporating sand tray therapy and expressive arts. I am competent in conducting psychological assessments to diagnose disorders such as ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders.
Outside of work, I enjoy gaming, going to the gym, watching anime, and crocheting.
