Lee Thean Elaine, Trainee Clinical Psychologist
Therapy doesn't have to feel like a formal, awkward conversation where you're expected to have everything figured out. I believe in creating a space where you can actually relax, be yourself, and explore what's really going on without judgment. Whether you're dealing with tough feelings, struggling in your relationships, trying to figure out who you are, managing stress that feels overwhelming, or working through difficult experiences from your past, I'm here to walk with you through it all.
I see therapy as a team effort—it's not about me telling you what to do or having all the answers. It's about us working together to understand your experiences, discover what matters to you, and find ways forward that actually make sense for your life. I approach our work with curiosity and care, creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, and safe enough to explore even the hardest or most confusing topics. Everyone deserves support in reaching their full potential, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or cultural background.
In my practice, I draw on approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy. I also explore creative methods like art therapy when it feels right. The goal is to find what works best for you. Sometimes that means talking things through, trying different tools and approaches, or just sitting with the mess until things start to make sense. My hope is that you'll feel empowered about the path ahead, whatever that looks like for you.
