Sashini De Silva, Trainee Counselor
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes each of us who we are—how our stories, experiences, and patterns shape the way we move through the world. Over time, I’ve come to understand that growth often means learning to unlearn: releasing the beliefs and behaviours that once protected us but now hold us back.
I believe that healing is deeply personal. It isn’t linear or quick—it’s a process of sitting with discomfort, embracing change, and reconnecting with your inner wisdom. And above all, I believe that doing the inner work is the greatest act of self-care we can offer ourselves.
I’m here to hold space for both your pain and your potential. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I’ll be your gentle guide as we untangle the layers—at your pace, in your way. My approach is integrative and holistic, blending Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and omatic practices to support the mind-body connection.
I’m especially passionate about working with children, young adults, couples, and individuals from LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities. No matter where you’re starting from, you deserve a space where you feel seen, supported, and safe.
Let’s take the first step—together.
