Kayla Syaffa, Trainee Counselor
I believe mental health is an essential part of holistic well-being, and everyone deserves a safe space to feel seen, heard, and supported. With a strong foundation in psychology and its application in a global context, I am committed to understanding human behavior and supporting individuals in navigating their unique life experiences.
Growing up in a multicultural environment, I value the richness of diverse backgrounds, stories, and identities. This has shaped the way I connect—with openness, curiosity, and respect for people from different walks of life.
Working with children, adolescents, and adults in the past has strengthened my adaptability and sensitivity to different developmental and emotional needs, allowing me to meet people where they are. My work is informed by person-centred therapy (PCT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), tailoring my approach depending on your needs.
In our sessions, I aim to create a warm and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace, while also fostering a collaborative approach to support your growth and address your goals. Together, I hope to help you navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels authentic and empowering, whenever you are ready.
